VINE - Victim Information Notification Everyday

05/11/2016

Press Release

The Labette County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce a new service now available to the public, “VINE” or Victim Information and Notification Everyday, the National Victim Notification Network.

This service allows crime victims to obtain timely and reliable information about criminal cases and the custody status of offenders, 24 hours a day. Victims and other concerned citizens can also register to be notified by phone, email, text message SMS or TTY device when an offender’s custody status changes.

Citizens wishing to register for this service can visit the Labette County Sheriff’s Office website at www.labettecountykssheriff.org and then click on the VINE tab towards the bottom of page.  From the VINE website, you can request notifications or download the free mobile app.  Further, this service is provided to the public at no cost.
