Labette County, Kansas - The Labette County Jail has expanded onsite visitation for approved visitors, effective immediately. This update reflects the facility's ongoing commitment to providing secure and structured communication between inmates and their immediate family members, while maintaining the safety and order of the correctional environment. This addition complements the existing remote video visitation services provided through NCIC Inmate Communications.

Visitor Approval & Scheduling Requirements

All onsite visitation must be scheduled in advance through NCIC Inmate Communications, with appointments made at least 48 hours prior to the visit. Only immediate family members-spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, and children-will be eligible for approval for onsite visitations. All visitors must receive prior clearance from the jail.

In-Person Visitation Schedule
• Sunday: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
• Monday - Saturday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Closed daily from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM for lunch and 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM for dinner)

Each inmate is permitted one 30-minute onsite visit per calendar week. Splitting visitation time among multiple visitors is not allowed.

Visitor Guidelines & Facility Rules

Visitors are expected to adhere to a strict set of guidelines to ensure a respectful and secure environment. Highlights include:
• Arrival & Identification: Visitors must arrive 15 minutes early and present a valid, government-issued photo ID.
• Supervision of Minors: Children must be always supervised and may not be left unattended.
• Dress Code: Revealing clothing is prohibited. All visitors must remain fully dressed.
• Behavior Expectations: Loud, profane, or disruptive behavior will result in immediate termination of the visit.
• Security Compliance: No personal items, electronic devices, or unauthorized materials are allowed inside the facility.

Violation of Rules May Result in Termination of Visitation Privileges.

Visits will be immediately suspended or denied if any policy is violated or if a visitor poses a risk to safety or security.

Video Visitation Still Available

Remote video visitation remains available to all approved visitors through www.ncic.com. This flexible option continues to serve those who are not eligible for onsite visits or prefer to visit remotely.
